The Daiquiri
Given this drink’s utter simplicity, it’s inane to buy frozen
Daiquiri mix. For one drink:
1.5 oz. white rum
1 tsp. superfine sugar
Lime juice equal to the juice of 1 and a half juicy fresh
limes
Put the ingredients in a shaker, shake briefly, and serve. Do
not over-shake. It’s a simple, fresh drink. Treat it accordingly.
